14th August. Here it is. From the core of my heart, I wish our ideal, our idol, Mohit Raina, a very Happy Birthday! It is a big day for all Mohitians, I know. Can we ever thank Mohit enough for what he has given us? For giving us the best gift we could possibly have got – MOHIT RAINA.
Its Mohit’s Magic that us insignificant creatures into a strong, cohesive group. We Mohitians are because of you, Mohit. It’s been an absolute pleasure to see the Mohit in Mahadev, Jalandhar, Adiyogi, or Agantuk. Everyday that we see him, our respect and love for him increases. Our respect for him is boundless. Everyday, we bless him, wish the best for him, genuinely.
Today as well, I wish Mohit all the success he deserves. And his gift? Well, that’s a promise.. A sincere promise.. No matter what, I will always stand by him. My support will just be a tiny contribution to his happiness and his contentment. All we can do in return is love him forever.. What he does for us, cannot be described in words.

Want to see that humility, that shine in your eyes; and that innocence on your face and smile. That’s what makes you Mohattractive! That’s what makes you our Mohit!

Dear Mohit Sir,
First of all, wish you a very very very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I pray that you get lots of success, and a wonderful life! Although, I’m pretty sure I don’t need to pray all that for you, since HE must be watching you all the time, feeling ever so proud. After all, whatever we see of you is like HIM speaking to us through you. So anyway, the deal was that on your birthday, us fans can send you poems, songs greeting and things like that. I do write, a lot, since childhood. Poems, stories ets. Yet all these days I tried so so so hard to write something for you, but failed. Nothing seemed good enough. Thing is, I have nothing to say to you in your praise which you haven’t heard before. So I really don’t know what to frame up in a poem. This collage is just a pile of pictures of you, but the real picture of you, which we fans see even with eyes closed is much more beautiful and beyond description. See, there have been many mythological shows before, but DKDMD is definitely something different. It has a very different and real feeling to it. Everyday when we watch you all on our T.V. it seems that, yeah, life really is OK! So credit goes to the entire team, for sure!
Now since I have started on this topic, I think I know, now, what the main thing is that I have to say. Coz if I go on talking and talking, this mail will never end! The main thing is, since childhood, I have been following one power. I gave that power the face of our beloved Bappa! Nobody else mattered, neither did I bother. My mom tells me, that during visarjan in Durga Puja once(oh yeah, I am Bengali, so that is like the BIGGEST celebration for us) I had climbed on to Bappa and cried hugging Him asking Him why he was leaving. I was unconsolable. Mom had to take me to another Pandal and show me that He was still there. She also tells me that I once took a Shiv Ling from a shop and ran off. When mom noticed It in my hand, she had to go back and pay for it! Even then, I never realised He had stuck on to me since then. It was always Bappa Bappa Bappa Bappa. Probably coz I had a similar body size as him!! Anyway, then suddenly DKDMD came along! I happened to start watching from the episode where Bappa beats Kartikey at the most famous race known in history! That was it. From then on, it became a part of my life. I went back and watched all the episodes from the start! Point is not that. Point is, not only have you managed to give me a new belief, a belief in HIM, bbut now it seems every God are so important. I have started to understand and respect them individually now. Now all the pujas and festivals make so much more sense. I feel all their presence, yes, but now I have another new family. Mahadev, Maa, and Bappa. You won’t believe I actually feel HIM sitting beside me as I write to you. I play games with HIM like if I should continue my dream of being an author, then we will have Dominos for dinner tonight, and if not, then we’ll have Papa Jones, and He answers all my questions like that. At first I could consider it as coincidences, but it went on and on and on. I call out to Maa just once, with teary eyes, and suddenly it starts raining on a brihgt sunny day(within 5 min) and I’m smiling ear to ear. Many people laugh hearing this, but I think you’ll understand. I know this mail is really long. I don’t know if you will ever read this, but I wish I could thank you enough, for this new life you have given me. I used to be pessimistic, weak girl with no self confidence. Now, I’m someone completely new. No matter how much I thank you, thank HIM, it will never be enough.
I still have so much to say, but I know I’ve already written a lot, and I don’t want to take up too much of your time. I just pray that you reach immense hights.
Respect you a lot, sir.

A Token of THANKS….By Prashasti SinghFirst of all a very Happy Birthday to Mohit Sir, I wish you ample joys, great success and immense glory in your life. I’m so glad to be a small but effective part of this Fan Page and feel myself connected to Mahadev and his part played by Mohit Sir. Everyone has a birthday but there are few who have thousands and lakhs of people to celebrate and undoubtedly Mohit Sir is one of those. Those thousands and lakhs are called fans who have actually sprinkled life on this page along with its admins. There have been many mythological shows popping up on the television but I think DKDM is one of the epic shows after the 80’s Ramayana and Mahabharata. The main reason of success is the epitomic part of Mahadev played by Mohit Sir. Mahadev one of the Tridevas according to Hindu mythology is known as “The Destroyer”, he is a dynamic personality too difficult to come up to the expectations but the “Great Expectations” of the viewers has been brought to satiety by Mohit Sir . I don’t think anyone has seen God, not even me but everyone has a part of Lord in their soul , a residence in our hearts , the only irony being our disability to actually see it . The reason is lack of absolute purity , and absence of a guru, hardly anybody has read the Vedas or the Puranas but we want to imbibe its teachings in our personality and I think I learnt it through DKDM , through Mahadev . The character played is so strong and magnanimous that I actually paid attention and learnt a lot from this show , in fact learning ….When even the Gods had to pay for their Karmas then who are we to run away from our duties , the respect and dignity of a woman in society , the qualities of a Maryada Purushottam etc. many great lessons have been taught to us, we pay attention to such many Dharma talks and we become a part of the Gyan Sabha of Mahadev , for this I thank the team of DKDM , and most importantly Mahadev— a Vairaagi , a Grihastha, a Guru, a father, a perfect husband , a Rudra and the one who is Sarwavyaapi. “Main Hun aur main nahi bhi hun. “(said by Mahadev)Hereby I end my article and a very big thanks to you Mohit Sir from the core of my heart , a wonderful birthday bash to you , wish you a long life which shall always bring you up in the flying colours ……Saraswathy Iyerthis poetry is specially for Mohit..
